“Post-90s Social Documentary” writes with the lens as its pen, recording the breath and pulse of Hong Kong. Since 2012, we have walked through the alleys of To Kwa Wan, climbed the rooftops of Central, and turned into countless corners of the city, capturing fleeting lights and fragments of everyday life. Along these years, we have witnessed and experienced different social events, where the city’s clamor and silences intertwine, shaping the unique imprint of Hong Kong’s era. Film and digital images intertwine like fragments of time, piecing together the ever-flowing story of this city. Through these frames, we hope each viewer can feel the city’s vitality, understand how time has sculpted Hong Kong’s visage, and awaken a deeper reflection on memory and social change.”
